About Spruce Lane Ceremonies

Hello! My name is Christine McKinlay and I would be delighted to officiate your wedding ceremony.  I am licensed with the Province of Ontario and trained by Humanist Canada. 

When you choose Spruce Lane Ceremonies you won't be getting your typical wedding ceremony that you have seen over and over again.  I craft unique non-religious ceremonies that are  reflective of the couple and tell your story. I will ask you what you value and how you want your cermeony to feel. I will bring your ideas to life and create a ceremony that won't be forgotten.  The ceremony will celebrating who you are, your love for each other and the life you have created.

I hold a Bachelor or Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts from Ryerson University.  I have completed courses in ritual design and rites of passage. 

As an award-winning public speaker, I enjoy guiding you and your guests through beautiful ceremonies. 

Although my main focus is wedding ceremonies, I also perform child blessing ceremonies, memorials and funerals. Contact me for details.
